The first step is to book an online consultation. After your appointment is scheduled, you will receive a series of comprehensive pre-diagnostic questionnaires and a registration form. These are essential for the assessment process and must be completed before your consultation.

Please book your appointment at least two weeks in advance. This time is necessary to allow you to complete the necessary forms and for our clinical team to process your information and prepare for your appointment. If you anticipate needing more time to complete the forms, we encourage you to book a consultation further in the future.

During the consultation, a clinician will conduct a triage to review your submitted information and discuss the best way forward, helping to determine the most suitable diagnostic pathway (e.g., an assessment for Autism, ADHD, or both). Due to the developmental stage of children under the age of 7, an ADHD assessment is not clinically appropriate.

Alternative: All-Day In-Person Assessment
For some adults, particularly those who do not have a separate informant to provide a developmental history, an all-day in-person assessment may be more suitable. This option combines the observation and the interview into a single day at our Colchester diagnostic suite.
